The Texas Bluegrass Celebration began over 5 years ago as a fundraiser to save our beautiful State Park at Lake Brownwood, but was eventually turned over to the Early Chamber of Commerce, who continues to allow a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Friends of Lake Brownwood and our State Park.
Although this festival does not take place in the usual RV park, like you may be used to, we have a wonderfully air conditioned facility with plenty of RV parking provided for everyone! We will run enough power for as many as want to come! So, don't hesitate...bring your friends...or bring your enemies and you will all be friends by the end of the weekend!
The Chamber's focus is very different, in that we want to promote our area to tourists and benefit Brownwood/Early with a culture of Bluegrass music and it's fans. We love to show off our beautifully refurbished downtown, several historic museums, multi-plex theater, fine dining, variety of shopping and more! Shuttle service provided for anyone wishing to go to the museums, downtown, or just back to your RV.
Come, and experience central Texas and small town living with some of the friendliest folks round! Come early, and stay awhile. Let us know what we can do to make your stay more enjoyable.
